It’s time for blog hop again! I always look forward to see what the others in the team has created. This month we are given a sketch challenge.
I’ve decided to use products from In the Wild Suite for this challenge. This is not the usual type of stamp set that I’d buy but my wish is to have as many different types of animals as I can in my stamp set collection.
I’ve used the Animal Print embossing folder for the background. After embossing, I swiped my Smoky Slate inkpad over the raised animal prints to give more depth. The tiger was die cut from In the Wild DSP. The image of the tiger on the DSP is actually a mirror image of the tiger die from the Big Cats Dies. I cut up the section of the DSP where the tiger is. Then I flipped it over and held it against the light so I could still see the image of the tiger from the back of the DSP. Still holding the paper against the light, I placed the die on the back of the tiger and secured it with washi tape. Then I ran it through the embossing machine and voila, you have tiger cut out!
I hope you like my card. We have so many creative crafters in this group, I hope you’d be able to get more inspirations from this talented team. Hop on to the next blog to see what Elizabeth Yager has come up with!

I’m the same, Olivia! I love how we all interpret the different challenges. It’s always so inspiring! Your card is fabulous! I keep talking myself out of this suite but your card made me put it back on the ‘to get’ list.
Haha, I didn’t think my card would have such a strong influence but glad you’re going to get the set soon 🙂
Wow, I love all the elements to this card, fab use of the sketch too!
Thank you Melissa!
Great card Olivia. The more I see this set used the more I like it.
Thank you Nikki! It’s really a great set for masculine cards.
Love what you have done with this Olivia! I am sure your little man loves it too!!!
Thank you Elizabeth! This was actually the first set I got from the Annual Catalogue because hubby likes tigers 🙂
Very clever way to cut out the tiger! Your card is awesome!
Thank you Marelle! 🙂
