It’s time for blog hop again! This month we were given a colour challenge.
I initially struggled with the colour combination but I thought Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry look very much tropical to me. So I chose the Timeless Tropical stamp set against the retired Noble Peacock Specialty DSP.
The layout of the card was inspired by Gail Ellis with minor tweaks. I would usually have my leaves in green but this hop is a colour challenge and only neutral colours are permitted apart from the given colours. So my leaves are stamped and die cut from Crumb Cake cardstock.
I hope you like my card. We have so many creative crafters in this group, I hope you’d be able to get more inspirations from this talented team. If you have just joined me, hop on to the next blog to see what Marelle Taylor had come up with!
This month we were given a sketch challenge. The stamp set that I have used for this card is Zany Zebras. The zebra is oh, so cute! The zebra being in black and white, I wanted to make my card bright and cheerful, so I picked Magenta Madness for my card base.
The strip of DSP behind the zebra is from Flowers for Every Season. Like what the name of the DSP implies, the pack comes with pretty floral designs but you can get non-floral designs on the other side of the papers which was what I did!

It’s been a while since I last took part in this blog hop and it’s great to be back! Life has been pretty full on with a little one to care for and I really missed crafting.
This month we are given a sketch challenge. This layout can be easily used for any stamp set but it took me some time to decide which stamp set to use! In the end I chose one that will be retiring soon from the Mini Catalogue because this is one of the many that I will definitely miss. This stamp set is called Music From The Heart and it was the first on my order list as soon as the Mini Catalogue came out.

It’s time for Blog Hop again! This time the design of our card is based on a given sketch.
This sketch works easily with any stamped images. I’ve been playing with the Back on Your Feet stamp set quite a bit recently so I’ve made this card using the sloth from the stamp set and pairing it with ferns from the Daisy Lane stamp set to match the overall leafy design of the card. The background was embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder and the strip of pretty paper is from Come To Gather Designer Series Paper.

It’s time for Blog Hop again and I was delighted to know that the challenge this month is to use anything from the Holiday Catalogue. The catalogue just has launched this month and it has now given me another reason to play with the new lovely products 🙂
I have chosen to use the new Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder for a gorgeous gleaming background.
The sentiment is from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set, a great hostess set with so many Christmas and New Year sentiments to choose from.
I then decorated the card with Christmas trees and pine cones from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. I love how the trees come with a coordinating punch which makes cutting them out so easy!

This month’s blog hop requires us to use 5 given colours and this is the card that I came up with.
The card was made using mainly the Layering Alphabet Dies and the Lined Alphabet stamp set in Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron cardstock in alternate layers. I love using these dies and stamp set to make personalised cards.
The punched daisy was stamped in Basic Gray then punched out using the Medium Daisy Punch. I have also stamped a lighter shade of daisy in Sahara Sand at the top corner of the card. My sentiment in Balmy Blue is from the Rooted in Nature stamp set.
I hope you like my card. Check out what Sharon Wilson has come up with in the next blog!
Today is the first day of Chinese New Year celebrating the Year of the Pig. The celebration is in full swing among my family members. Here are some cards I’ve made for my friends and family celebrating the occasion.
This Little Piggy and the Barn Door stamp sets make a perfect pair for this occasion!
Last week I made this card for a lovely friend. I used a couple of stamps from the Waterfront set to build the scene. Then I stamped the girl from Beautiful You twice. The first time was on the same cardstock where the waterfront scene was stamped. The second time was stamped on a DSP. I then cut out the dress and the hat from the DSP and stuck them onto the same image on the cardstock. That’s an easy way to have your beautiful girl wear a dress of any print!
The Stamper Anonymous group, which I’m part of, is kick starting a Team Blog Hop, today being the first! Once a month, the talented Nikki Stalker will send the team a sketch or a colour challenge and we design something based on this guideline.
This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:
Since Christmas is just around the corner, I’ve decided to make a Christmas card. The deer is cut out from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies while the sentiment is from the Labels of Love stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. I’ve also punched some sprigs using the Sprig Punch as I think they make a good match with the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) used in the background.
My colour scheme is Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and white for a traditional Christmas colour.
I hope you like my card. Check out what Melissa Gifford has come up with in the next blog!
I have a colleague who is going away for maternity leave and I made her this card. The elegant background was made with the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies and the image and sentiment are from the Wonderful Moments stamp set. I’ve coloured in the image using the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers which makes it so easy to do blending,
This stamp set has many more images suitable for all types of wonderful moments like weddings and birthdays and it comes with sentiments suitable for such occasions!
