Dashing Deer

The Stamper Anonymous group, which I’m part of, is kick starting a Team Blog Hop, today being the first!  Once a month, the talented Nikki Stalker will send the team a sketch or a colour challenge and we design something based on this guideline.

This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with:

Since Christmas is just around the corner, I’ve decided to make a Christmas card.  The deer is cut out from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies while the sentiment is from the Labels of Love stamp set from the Annual Catalogue.  I’ve also punched some sprigs using the Sprig Punch as I think they make a good match with the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) used in the background.

My colour scheme is Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and white for a traditional Christmas colour.
